North West ADC gov’ship candidates tackle incumbents on performance

Governorship candidates of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the seven North West states have criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) governors in the zone, accusing them of failing to implement projects that would lift people out of poverty. The APC governors had signed a development agreement to implement a minimum wage of N110,000 for workers across the region. Speaking on behalf of the candidates, former Attorney General of the Federation Abubakar Malami said this is contained in a blueprint for the socio-economic emancipation of the region. The candidates claimed that rather than progress, people are more impoverished today, while the APC governors live in obscene affluence.
