The Lagos State Government has introduced a three-month free transportation scheme for police officers on its integrated public transport system. The initiative, launched on Wednesday, includes the distribution of 2,000 Cowry Cards to the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex, Lagos. According to ASP Aminat Mayegun, the cards provide unlimited complimentary access to the Blue Line and Red Line rail services, electric water boats, and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). The scheme is intended to recognize police officers' contributions to peace and security in Lagos.
