The Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) has urged banks, insurance companies, fintech firms, Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs), and other financial stakeholders to support a new Public-Private Partnership framework. The framework is designed to strengthen Nigeria's fight against money laundering, terrorist financing, and illicit financial flows. The NFIU emphasized the need for intelligence sharing among these entities. The call was made as part of efforts to enhance the country's anti-money laundering regime.
