Aliko Dangote, President and CEO of Dangote Industries Limited, said the planned Initial Public Offering of Dangote Petroleum Refinery offers Nigerians a rare opportunity to become shareholders in a strategic industrial asset. He stated this in Lagos yesterday, noting that the proposed listing represents more than a financial transaction. According to him, millions of Nigerians depend daily on refined petroleum products for transportation, manufacturing, logistics, power generation, and other economic activities. He said the IPO gives people the opportunity not only to consume but also to participate in the value created by the enterprise.
