Gwarzo condemns killing of Kano social media critic

The Kano State governorship candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, condemned the reported killing of social media critic Ibrahim Khalil Dan Shagamu in Gaida, Kumbotso Local Government Area. In a statement issued Thursday by his spokesperson, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu, Gwarzo described the incident as disturbing and called on security agencies to thoroughly investigate the circumstances surrounding the death. According to the statement, Dan Shagamu was reportedly attacked inside his residence in Gaida. Gwarzo said no citizen should lose his life because of his opinions, criticism, or political views.
