Professor Ayodeji Badejo will assume office as the new Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU) on September 20. He succeeds Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, whose five-year tenure expires with her retirement. The appointment was made by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in accordance with the LASU Law, 2004, as amended. Badejo, a professor of guidance and counselling, was born on August 4, 1962.
