Naira slides N11/$ as interbank FX turnover jumps 70% to $94.43 million

The naira weakened by N11.10 against the US dollar in the interbank foreign exchange market on Wednesday, September 9, closing at N1,334/$, compared with N1,322.90/$ recorded on Tuesday. Interbank FX turnover jumped by 70% to $94.43 million. The depreciation reflects ongoing volatility in the foreign exchange market.
