Marty Yabrow, 68, and his wife Angie, 73, moved to Paris in January 2025 after selling their home in Atlanta. The decision followed Marty's job loss after a reorganization at his firm and a suggestion from Angie to move abroad. Despite initial misgivings from their financial advisor, Marty found that retiring in France was financially possible and preferable due to free healthcare. A growing number of Americans have been flocking to France.
