The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has clarified its role regarding the Learner Identification Number (LIN) initiative, stating that it is neither the originator nor the implementing authority. The Director-General of NOA, Lanre Issa-Onilu, made the clarification in response to claims by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) of overreach. The NOA rejected NANS' claim and provided its position on the matter.
