Amnesty International has condemned the brutal killing of Kano journalist and social media political commentator Ibrahim Khalil Dan Shagamu. His body was found in a pool of blood at his home in Gaida, Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano State. According to a niece, Hajiya Rabi, Dan Shagamu was killed last Monday and his body was mutilated with several cuts, including to his eyes. Amnesty International has called on Nigerian authorities to investigate the incident and bring those responsible to justice.
