He made these remarks during an exclusive interview on Arise News on Thursday as part of its presidential series. Obi argued that the problem was not the removal of subsidy itself but the failure to deploy the resulting savings productively. He noted that the Federal Government disclosed that the subsidy removal generated about N15.8 trillion, a figure he referenced repeatedly.
