Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has provided N500,000 each to 41 widows of late soldiers, totaling N20.5 million. The intervention was in response to an eviction order by authorities of 1 Battalion, Nigerian Army, Dukku Barracks in Birnin-Kebbi. The Military Women Association of Nigeria (MIWA) commended the governor for the support.
