The French Football Federation has announced it will not support Gianni Infantino's bid for re-election as FIFA president in 2027. The FFF is joining other European federations, including Belgium, Italy, Scotland, Sweden, and Wales, in withdrawing support. FFF president Philippe Diallo stated that trust in Infantino has been betrayed and that the governance of world football no longer reflects their vision. Infantino remains the only candidate for the election.
