2027: No New Roads, Buildings Until Existing Ones Are Fixed — Peter Obi

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, has said his administration will not construct new buildings or roads until existing infrastructure across the country is repaired. In an exclusive interview with Arise Television on Thursday, Obi stated that if elected president in the January 16, 2027 election, his administration would prioritize rehabilitating existing infrastructure over new projects.
