First Lady Mrs. Veronique Herminie officially launched the "Welcome to Puberty" Initiative at the SITE Auditorium in Mont Fleuri on Thursday. The initiative is a collaboration between the Office of the First Lady, the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development, and the WOSITA Foundation, aiming to provide young girls with knowledge, practical support, and confidence during puberty. The soft launch included 49 S1 girls from English River Secondary School as the first beneficiaries. The launch was inspired by the story of a young girl who overcame an unexpected pregnancy at 15 to become a teacher and receive the President's Cup.
