Acting Director of the Corporate Planning and Performance Management Directorate (CPPMD), Dorothy Mwera, emphasized the importance of staff well-being as the State Department for Foreign Affairs reviews its Staff Wellness Policy. The review aims to ensure an effective and coordinated wellness framework for officers and staff at Headquarters and in Kenya Missions. Mwera highlighted the need for a comprehensive approach addressing occupational, psychosocial, physical, financial, family, and environmental factors affecting staff well-being and performance. The proposed framework includes integrated wellness interventions covering mental and psychosocial wellness, physical health, nutrition, financial wellness, bereavement, and family support.
