In a paper titled 'Exodus Generation: Why Are Africa's Young People Heading West?', Muloni described the affected generation as built around 'hustle and hope' but caught between rising aspirations and shrinking opportunities. The analysis highlights the growing economic and demographic crisis as millions of young people enter the labour market without decent employment opportunities.
