Professor Ayodeji Olawunmi Badejo has been appointed as the 10th substantive Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU). The appointment was made by Lagos State Governor and Visitor to the institution, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday, 9th September 2026, in line with the LASU Law 2004. Badejo will succeed Distinguished Professor Ibiyemi.
