First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu has unveiled the National Community Food Bank Programme for the South-East geopolitical zone in Anambra State. The unveiling took place at the old Governor's Lodge in Amawbia during her official visit to the state. The food bank aims to provide food assistance and nutrition education to vulnerable groups, including widows, elderly persons, persons with disabilities, nursing mothers, and young children. The First Lady said the initiative is part of the Renewed Hope Initiative and will complement Federal Government policies on poverty reduction, sustainable agriculture, and social safety.
