The death toll from a suspected food poisoning incident in Odigbo communities in Ondo State has risen to 30. About 50 other people are receiving treatment in various hospitals after allegedly consuming suspected locally produced alcoholic drinks or herbal concoctions. The casualties were recorded in communities within Odigbo Local Government Area. Authorities have not yet released further details on the cause of the incident.
