The Federal Government has unveiled a digital education intervention that will allow millions of Nigerian students to access approved educational platforms without paying for internet data. The initiative, called the Initiative for Zero-Rated Access to Educational Platforms and Content in Nigeria, was announced by the Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa. The government is also working towards regulating internet access for children below 16 years. The move aims to make digital learning accessible regardless of economic circumstances or location.
