The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has condemned an attack on its members in Kaduna State and warned that introducing thuggery and violence into the 2027 electoral process could have dangerous consequences. In a statement by National Publicity Secretary Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the party said the incident was an unacceptable escalation as political activities ahead of 2027 begin. Abdullahi stressed that the ADC's commitment to peaceful democratic participation should not be mistaken for weakness, adding that no political party has a monopoly on non-state-sanctioned violence. The party called on security agencies to take action.
