Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo held a bilateral meeting with Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation Dr. Sameh El-Hefny on the sidelines of the El-Alamein International Airshow (EIAS 2026) in Egypt. Discussions centered on enhancing air connectivity between Nigeria and Egypt, deepening cooperation between the two countries' civil aviation authorities, and strengthening technical and professional capacity development. Keyamo said the meeting would also create greater opportunities for collaboration among airlines, airports, regulators, and other aviation stakeholders. In a statement by his SA Media, Tunde Moshood, Keyamo stressed the strategic importance of Nigeria-Egypt aviation relations, noting both countries occupy important positions within the African aviation ecosystem.
