The National Orientation Agency has denied allegations by the National Association of Nigerian Students that it is overreaching its mandate regarding the proposed National Learner Identification Number. NOA Director-General Lanre Issa-Onilu clarified that the agency is not the originator or implementer of the LIN. NANS had criticized the proposed LIN as duplicative of the National Identification Number.
