The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has called on All Progressives Congress leaders in Niger State to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration and sustain the gains of its reform agenda ahead of the 2027 general elections. He made the appeal in Abuja while receiving chairmen of the APC across the 25 Local Government Areas of Niger State on a solidarity visit. Idris emphasized that the support and unity of APC leaders are critical to consolidating achievements in the economy, security, infrastructure, education, and human capital development. He noted that Tinubu inherited a challenging economic and security situation when he assumed office in May 2023, with the country's economic foundation under severe pressure.
