The Gombe State Police Command has arrested a suspected kidnapper and rescued three abducted persons. The command also recovered 2,500 sachets of suspected Tramadol capsules and other exhibits. According to DSP Buhari Abdullahi, a joint security clearance operation was conducted on September 8, 2026, in Dukku and Kwami Local Government Areas. The operation involved personnel from the Nigeria Police Force, military, NSCDC, vigilante groups, and hunters.
