Tinubu Redeems Pledge of $100,000, Three-Bedroom Aparments, National Honours to D’Tigress Players

President Bola Tinubu has fulfilled the Federal Government's pledge to compensate D'Tigress, Nigeria's female basketball team that won the 2025 FIBA Women's AfroBasket in Abidjan. The rewards include $100,000, three-bedroom apartments, and national honours of the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) for each player. Tinubu announced on his verified X handle that the cash, homes, and honours have been redeemed. He also stated that plans are at an advanced stage to finalise payment of outstanding cash rewards to the Super Falcons.
