Massive Crowd as PDP Flags-off Campaign for Ogun 2027 Governorship Poll

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) officially launched its campaign for the 2027 Ogun State governorship election on Wednesday at the Ake Palace Pavilion in Abeokuta. Thousands of party supporters and residents gathered from as early as 10am, wearing party attire and waving flags and banners featuring the PDP governorship candidate, Ladi Adebutu, and his running mate, 'Yemi Showunmi-Kolapo. A jubilant crowd also converged at the PDP Secretariat in the capital city to welcome Adebutu, Showunmi-Kolapo, Senator Iyabo Obasanjo, and other party leaders, accompanying their convoy to the venue. The event caused a standstill along the route from the PDP Secretariat to the stadium.
