Peter Obi is fat on ambition, drunk on political arrogance — Presidency

The Presidency has accused Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), of hallucinating and living in a political fantasy land over his claims that he won the 2023 presidential election. In a reaction conveyed by Sunday Dare, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Public Communications, the Presidency said Obi is 'fat on ambition but drunk on political arrogance.' It further stated that Obi's insistence on winning the election, despite the Supreme Court's final judgment, amounts to clear hallucination. The Presidency also asserted that only the Nigerian people have the power to decide elections and predicted they will vote massively for President Tinubu in 2027.
