The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has disowned a purported $46 billion grant approval document circulating online. In a post on X, the apex bank shared an image of the document and labeled it as fake. The CBN advised the public to disregard the content and be guided accordingly. The bank did not provide further details about the origin of the document.
