41 percent of local farmers in 19 northern states lifted out of poverty —ACReSAL

The Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) project has lifted about 41 percent of local farmers out of poverty through various interventions in 19 Northern states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). ACReSAL Task Team Lead, Dr Joy Iganya Agege, made this assertion during a hybrid Additional Financing (AF)/Pre-Appraisal Mission. The project aims to improve agricultural productivity and resilience in semi-arid regions.
