A former member of the Amaju Pinnick-led Nigeria Football Federation board has responded to claims by the Gusau board that the bulk of a N17billion Federal Government intervention fund was spent servicing debts incurred under Pinnick. The source, who craved anonymity, insisted the Gusau board was economical with the truth. Anti-graft agencies are investigating how the Gusau board spent the money. The former board member said the government is a continuum and rejected the suggestion that the Pinnick-led board incurred the debts in question.
