The Agbekoya Farmers Society has vowed to resist any attack on South-West communities by bandits. The association's president-general, High Chief Kamorudeen Okikiola, made the vow at the inauguration of newly elected executive members and installation of new chieftaincy holders in Ibadan. He said the association is prepared to confront any bandit who might attack communities in the South-West. Okikiola alleged that armed herders have been attacking farmers and invading farmlands in the region for years.
