Hala outlined five-point framework for Nigeria to capture tourism demand

Karl Hala, Group General Manager of Continental Hotels Nigeria, spoke at the AeroWest Summit 2026 in Lagos, where he presented a five-point framework for Nigeria to capture tourism demand. He emphasized that while airlines and airports are critical, they do not constitute tourism on their own. Hala called on aviation, hospitality, and government stakeholders to move beyond connectivity and focus on building human capacity, experiences, and systems that enable destinations to thrive.
