No fewer than 2,000 police personnel serving across Lagos State will receive three months of free transportation on the state's Bus Rapid Transit, rail, and water transport services under a new welfare package. The initiative involves distributing 2,000 Cowry Cards to selected police personnel to ease the financial burden of daily commuting. Beneficiaries will have free access to designated government transport services, including BRT, Blue Line and Red Line rail services, and electric boats, for three months, after which they will enjoy a 50 per cent discount on fares. The cards were presented by Hassan Adekoya, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Transportation and Logistics, to the Inspector-General of Police, represented by the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of the F.
