Ukrainian drones travelled nearly 2,000 miles to strike two Russian gas facilities in the Arctic region, according to Ukraine's Special Operations Forces. The targets were a major plant in Novy Urengoy and another facility about 60 miles south in the Purovsky district, both located in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The Russian governor of the attacked region said a fire had broken out at one of the plants. Ukrainian manufacturer Fire Point said its FP-1 fixed-wing drones were involved in one of the strikes, described as a record distance for the war.
