The World Health Organization (WHO) has reported that the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has spread to 61 health zones. The affected provinces are Bas-Uélé, Haut-Uélé, Ituri, North Kivu, South Kivu and Tshopo. The outbreak continues to pose a significant public health challenge in the region.
