Commuters and motorists on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway are facing severe traffic congestion due to ongoing repair works on damaged expansion joints of the Kara Bridge. The gridlock intensified on Wednesday and continued on Thursday, stretching more than 20 kilometres into Lagos. Some commuters reportedly spent up to six hours in the traffic. The situation has caused significant hardship for road users.
