The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) confirmed that one person died and two others were rescued after a two-storey building partially collapsed in Aboru, Lagos. The incident occurred at about midnight at No. 42, Governors Road, Aboru, in the Alimosho area, during manual demolition of the building. LASEMA's Alpha Eagle Response Team was dispatched from the Cappa, Oshodi Response Unit at 12:56 a.m. following a distress call, and arrived to find workers trapped beneath the rubble. Preliminary findings indicate the building was being manually demolished when the collapse occurred, and two adult males were successfully extricated alive.
