The Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Kaduna State chapter, and the Forum of Education Secretaries have backed Governor Uba Sani for a second term and called for the consolidation of gains in the basic education sector. Addressing journalists in Kaduna, the chairman of the Forum of Education Secretaries, Adamu Mu'azu, said the group had reviewed developments across the 23 local government education authorities before passing a vote of confidence in the governor. He said the forum had also resolved to support the continuation of the administration beyond 2027, describing the decision as an institutional position based on its assessment of developments in the education sector.
