Afreximbank, through its Creative Africa Nexus (CANEX) programme, and TopTier Sports Management, along with What Media Group, announced a Legends Football Match as part of CANEX WKND 2026. The match is scheduled for 8 November 2026 at Onikan Stadium in Lagos. It will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the mid-1990s Super Eagles squad, commemorating their 1994 AFCON triumph, 1994 FIFA World Cup run, and 1996 Olympic Gold medal.
