BRICS Summit: Nigeria moves to deepen ties with partners

The Federal Government has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with key international partners at the 18th BRICS Leaders' Summit scheduled for September 12 and 13. According to a statement by Mr Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications, the engagement will provide Nigeria a platform to enhance partnerships in trade, investment, energy, agriculture, solid minerals, technology, and innovation. Vice President Kashim Shettima will represent President Bola Tinubu at the summit in New Delhi, India. The summit will involve plenary and high-level sessions examining global economic growth.
