Reps D/Spokesperson Clears Wike Of Wrongdoing Over Alleged Unapproved Borrowing

Deputy Spokesperson of the House of Representatives, Hon. Philip Agbese, has dismissed claims that Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike took loans without National Assembly approval. Agbese described Wike as one of the most legislatively compliant public servants under the National Assembly's scrutiny. The allegations were initially raised by Senator Ireti Kingibe, who represents the FCT, during an appearance on Channels Television's Political Paradigm. Kingibe stated she had raised concerns with Senate leadership and had never seen Wike appear before the Senate to seek loan approval.
