Apple's first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, is priced between $1,999 and $3,199 and features a 7.6-inch inner display when unfolded, which Apple calls the largest iPhone display ever. The device offers a 50% larger screen than the next-gen iPhone 18 Pro, but to achieve the foldable design, Apple had to make hardware trade-offs. These compromises include putting some capabilities on the cutting-room floor to accommodate new mechanical components. The Duo provides early adopters with bragging rights and new features, but at a higher cost and with certain sacrifices.
