Oju-Ore bridge safe, structurally sound, says Works Ministry

The Federal Ministry of Works has dismissed reports alleging structural defects on the Oju-Ore bridge in Ota, Ogun State. A delegation led by Engr. Musa Saidu, Director of Bridges, Highways and Road Designs, inspected the ongoing project on the directive of the Minister of Works, Engr. David Umahi. The inspection followed concerns raised on social media about the bridge's quality and structural integrity. Saidu stated that the bridge passed integrity tests and is structurally stable, cautioning against using social media photos or videos to judge its safety.
