The Lagos State Government has announced that schools across the state will resume on Monday, 14 September 2026, for the 2026/2027 academic session. In a statement issued on Friday, the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mr Jamiu Alli-Balogun, welcomed pupils, students, teachers and other stakeholders back to school. He also congratulated parents, learners and school personnel for their efforts. The government issued new session guidelines as part of the resumption announcement.
