The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has extended its special passport intervention exercise in the United Kingdom due to high demand among Nigerians. The exercise, taking place in London and Manchester, will now run from September 19 to October 3, 2026. The extension was announced in a statement by NIS Public Relations Officer DCI Akinsola Akinlabi. The Service said the extension was approved by the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, in response to the high turnout since the exercise began.
