The Federal Government has assured parents, guardians and students of safety as all Federal Unity Colleges nationwide resume academic activities on September 14. In a statement issued on Friday by the Director of Press and Public Relations at the Federal Ministry of Education, Mrs Folasade Boriowo, on behalf of the Minister, Dr Tunji Alausa, the government said necessary arrangements had been put in place for a safe and seamless start to the new academic session. Alausa said the safety and wellbeing of students and staff remain central to the government's commitment to a secure learning environment. He added that relevant security agencies had been informed of the resumption arrangements and were maintaining heightened vigilance around the colleges and their immediate environments.
