Lovable CEO Anton Osika has weighed in on warnings that artificial intelligence could wipe out humanity, saying such concerns deserve to be taken seriously. His comments follow those of former Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon, who accused OpenAI and Anthropic of gambling with people's lives and warned that the two labs were racing toward self-improving superintelligence without adequate safety guarantees. Osika, founder of the Swedish startup, backed slowing AI development while safety cannot be guaranteed. The CEOs of OpenAI and Anthropic have not publicly addressed Coxon's warning, which sparked a broad debate.
