Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun said state governors, not President Bola Tinubu, should account for how funds from the removal of petrol subsidy are spent. He spoke at an APC rally in Ogun, reacting to opposition criticism over the management of subsidy savings. Abiodun noted that the subsidy removal increased allocations to state governments, making governors better positioned to explain the use of the additional revenue. He added that governors have been using the funds for infrastructure and development projects.
